Who we are

NOT Editing is a service from NOT group. The data controller is:

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email, channel name and links.
• Project information: goals, posting frequency, footage and feedback you share with us.
• Billing details needed to invoice you. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
• Messages in our Editorial Discord and by email.

Why and on what legal basis

• To answer your interest form and deliver the service (contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• To meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation, art. 6(1)(c)).
• To keep the service secure and improve it (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)).

We only collect what we need to run the service. We do not sell your data and do not send marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Trusted processors that help us run the service: Asana (interest form and project management), Discord (communication), Stripe (payments), cloud storage for footage, our website host, and the editors assigned to your channel. Some of these may process data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Project data and footage are kept for as long as we work together and deleted within 90 days after the collaboration ends, unless you ask us sooner. Accounting records are kept for 5 years as required by Norwegian law.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email tonje@notgroup.no and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, at datatilsynet.no.

Age

Our service is for people aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must contact us on your behalf.
